Review: Neutrogena Alcohol-free Toner

A cheap and effective toner, Neutrogena Alcohol-free Toner!

I had been searching for alcohol free toner as you know using alcohol-related products for long term would dry out our skin. Seeing the cheap price and its alcohol-free formula, I grabbed this at Wastons. 200ml bottle at $11.

Description: Alcohol-Free Toner refreshes skin without stripping its natural moisturizers. It is specially formulated to provide clean, refreshing toning without the harsh drying effects of alcohol. Special mild purifiers gently remove impurities and recondition skin. Skin will feel fresh and clean—without tightness, dryness or stinging.

This toner does a very good job of taking away any residue left behind after cleansing. I have used quite a number of toners, some of which leave a very clean cotton pad after wiping. Note that, I was using the same facial wash when experimenting with different toners.

Unlike those toners I previously used, this one is great for removing excess dirt and residue left behind from the facial wash! I see a dirty cotton pad sometimes! Im impressed! Also, it does not dry out my skin. I do not have the "very tight" feeling after that.

Minus point would be that it stings my face on some days. A mild one which lasts for a few seconds. Not sure why. But, it does not leave my face red. So, I am not bothered by it.

All in all, this toner deserves a try for its very cheap price, alcohol-free formula and excellent ability to remove dirt after cleansing!
