Review: Naruko Niaouli & Tea Tree Sebum Control Night Gelly

A overnight mask which I am using it as a moisturizer to soothe my outbreaks.

Description: Helps regulate sebum secretion, strengthen the relief of acnes, and enhance the skin's resistance. Also promotes keratose metabolism, which aids in unclogging pores. Besides, it prevents acnes, and diminishes the appearance of scars, pigments and traces of pigmentation. Keep skin sleek, fresh and healthy.

Naruko Niaouli & Tea Tree Sebum Control Night Gelly has a thick gel-like texture. Non-greasy. I love the tingly/cooling sensation when applied. Though it feels my face minty fresh and light, I would not sleep immediately after applying. My face would stick to my pillow if I do that. Best to wait for a few minutes for it to absorb totally into skin.

I usually apply this without my moisturizer. As my intention is to soothe my outbreaks, I try not to layer too much on my face on these days. I find it alittle drying for my combination skin. For people with dry skin types, you will probably find it drying too if you use it without moisturizer.

It does help in calming outbreaks. But do not expect fast results. It works gradually, give it a few days to show its magic. It reduces some of the redness and decreases the size of my pimples slowly and gradually. Of course, I am also using some other serums and pimple creams to aid in the recovery too. As for pigments, I cant comment on that as I have not used it long enough.

Review: Juju Aquamoist C Whitening Cream

Used Juju Aquamoist C Whitening Cream a while ago for 2 months. It was raved on forums.

Description: Aquamoist C Whitening Cream is light gel cream easily absorbed by the skin. Controls melanin synthesis and reduces the formation of old corneum as well as moisturizes skin. Skin will become clear & translucent after use.

Comes in a clear gel texture. Gel moisturizer is especially good for oily or combination skin as it is supposed to be light weight, non-greasy and non pore-clogging for these skin types.

However, this moisturizer did not absorb into my combination skin quickly, and it gave a very sticky feeling afterwards. It left me feeling uncomfortable even after I patted it for a few minutes. Also, I found out that it was clogging my face after a while. Not sure if it is due to the cream being too rich for me.

On the other hand, it did give me a more hydrated and slightly brighter skin after a few weeks. One tub can last for very long because only a little is needed each time.

Those with dry skin types and do not mind having a sticky moisturizer can give it a go.
