Review: Ceutical Nano Acne Serum

Hey guys, I have a new product to introduce!! Ceutical Nano Acne serum!!

Description: Regulates sebum production and balance oil in skin. Purifies pores, prevent breakouts and soothe irritated/blemished skin.

I'm sure a lot of you have heard of it or even tried it! This is really very good!!

I have been having outbreaks after my HK trip. My face is in its worst condition recently. Just went for facial two weeks ago, two or three pimples were not cleared completely yet (my therapist told me it would require more than one session to clear it) and there were lots of scars and redness on my face after the facial. Was really very depressed.

I have heard of this brand for quite long but was hesitant to try it due to its price. I am glad that I have made my first purchase from Sarah!! I bought it from her blogshop http://sarahtalks.wordpress.com/, she has instocks and is a very friendly seller! =)

Texture wise may be a little sticky upon application. But do not be alarmed, it will get absorbed into your skin within 1 minute of patting! Afterwhich, it feels as if you have not applied anything on your face, no stickiness nor greasiness at all!

Within 2 days usage, my pimples have reduced in size. Redness is completely gone! My face has totally calmed down.

You guys should really try it!! Especially for those having frequent outbreaks! I am using it together with Ceutical Scar Potion (review on another page).

One vial of serum can last up to one week and it costs around $2.50. So it is $25 for 2.5 months of usage (actually it is quite worthwhile, reasonable pricing for an effective product!). Needs to be ordered in a box of 10 vials but mix and match is allowed. I have mixed Acne and Scar Serums in one box. Will review about Ceutical Scar Serum after using it!

Review: Skincology Advanced Hydrating Phyto Complex II

I am back to review on Skincology Advanced Hydrating Phyto Complex II!

Description: New upgraded hydration complex contains higher-level hyaluronic acid plus botanical extracts known for their ability to promote a more vibrant, youthful looking complexion. With hydrating and anti-oxidant properties instantly gives your skin a silky, smooth texture.

Skincology Advanced Hydrating Phyto Complex II is a transparent serum in clear glass bottle with a dropper. I have been using it for more than a month now. I like it very much.

Instructions indicate 3 to 5 drops per use. However, 2 drops are sufficient for my face. Texture appears to be thick but the serum feels light on skin. Initally, it may be a little sticky to the touch but it gets absorbed real fast in less than a minute after patting.

It is good at keeping my skin hydrated and plump throughout the day. It leaves my skin smooth and supple.

I have a few dehydration lines on my face. After a few uses, it smoothens my dehydration lines too.

I bought at $19 from iprettyface's ebay. Should be able to last me for around 4 months.

I find it cheap and good! Love the texture very much because I hate to apply oily stuff on my skin! This is not oily at all and does not clog my skin. It absorbs well into my skin. Try it!

Review: Skincology Ellagic Acid Whitening Essence

Ellagic Acid Whitening Essence from Skincology is a highly concentrated whitening serum that is fragrance, oil and colour-free.

Description: This maximum-strength, ellagic acid whitening essence brightens skin and balances uneven pigmentation caused by sun exposure, age spots and hormonal imbalance, gives your skin tone a healthy even glow.

I have been using Skincology Ellagic Acid Whitening Essence for more than 3 weeks. The essence comes in a glass bottle with a dropper. It is brown, similar to colour of honey.

When I first dropped this essence on my palm, it appeared to be kinda thick to me. Upon application, I realised that it is actually quite watery. Initally, it may be a little sticky to the touch but it gets absorbed real fast in less than a minute after patting. It feels very light and my skin is super smooth! Amazing!

I can see a significant difference to my face! It is more even toned and brighter. Comes with a healthy glow too! I don't look so "dead" now. I have a few pimple scars on my cheeks. I noticed that they have become lighter after using this serum!

I have also used it on my legs. My healing rate is very slow, I can't seem to recover fast from scars on my whole body. Other than pimples, I hate mosquito bites too because they leave very visible scars on my legs! As Chinese New Year was near the corner, I desperately wanted these scars on my legs to disppear fast so I used this essence on them too. It worked! Though the scars are still there, they have lightened considerably after using for one week.

I really love this serum very very very much! I bought mine at $25 from iprettyface's ebay.

Review: Bebeco Emulsion (Plant Vita & AC-T-Line)

Bebeco gave me a few samples of their cleanser, toner and emulsion when I bought my Plant Vita Makeup Foam Cleansing. I have tried it for a few days and here's my review on the Bebeco emulsion!

I was given two types of emulsion: Plant Vita & AC-T-Line. AC-T-Line is suitable for oily and troubled skin type. Plant Vita is for dry to normal skin type. But both are suitable for combination skin types.

Plant Vita

Description: Plant Vita Hydro Emulsion contains natural plant extracts of vitamins A, B and C from Jojoba, cucumber and wild plant which play an important role in smoothening and tightening the skin, making the skin smooth and soft, and enhance moisture absorbent capability of the skin. This product is also effective in preventing skin inflammatory and bacterial growth and thereby, very suitable for sensitive skin.

AC-T-Line

Description: With sebum control substances from plant extracts and moisturizing ingredient, Moistfine Liquid, this exclusive AC-T-LINE Hydro Emulsion controls excessive sebum production in the T-zone and fight against adult acnes. It helps to regain skin suppleness and radiance, prevents skin redness, improves skin immunity and prevents dryness around the eyes.

Both have a creamy texture and a strong smell. Unlike the Plant Vita Makeup Foam Cleansing, the emulsions have a overpowering smell to it. I don't like the smell at all.

When do I use it? Apply it after my toner. Take 2 drops which is smaller than a green bead seed and rub my palm together. Pat lightly on my face and continue to pat to absorb.

It feels oily after applying. Nevertheless, my skin is able to absorb it after patting for one or two minutes.

However, I noticed a shine on my face after a few hours upon application. My face looked pretty oily. I was at home playing computer games, no vigorous activities and no sweat. Therefore, the oily sheen could only be due to the emulsion. Same thing happened for both emulsions.

I do not think I will purchase the full retail size emulsions. I do not want to risk clogging my pores.
