Review: Hada Labo Hydrating Makeup Remover

A water-based make-up remover which is suitable for all skin types: Hada Labo Hydrating Makeup Remover!

Purchased this from Wastons. It is a steal for a 200ml bottle at $17.90! Ok, I am a cheapo, you should know that by now.

For combination skin, some oil-based make-up removers may irritate my skin and result in more clogged pores. It is hard to find an effective oil-free make-up remover. But I have found one: Hada Labo Hydrating Makeup Remover!

I apply it on my dry face. Massage. Add a little water and massage again.  Rinse off with warm water.

It has a very watery texture. Not oily. Very easy to rinse off. Occasionally, my blackheads/whiteheads are removed during the massage.

It has an excellent cleansing ability. Gentle yet highly effective in dissolving all traces of my sunblock and BB cream.

It has one downside though. Even though it contains Hyaluronic Acid, my face do feel a little tight afterwards if I do not follow up with a normal hydrating cleanser immediately. Some said that this is hydrating enough to use alone without any normal cleanser. However, I feel overwise.

All in all, it is quite a good product. Though it may be not hydrating for me, it fulfills the main purpose of a makeup remover. Cleanses my face well. I think it's sufficient for a product at this price.
